About
Originally from Cary, North Carolina I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelors of Architecture, GO CANES! Sold by the palm trees and cold winters I stayed in Miami and currently work for The Spinnaker Group as a LEED Project Manager. At The Spinnaker Group I manage the sustainability aspects and LEED certification process for over 20 LEED projects around Miami at various stages of design through construction. I am currently a LEED AP BD+C and Homes as well as a HERS Rater. I also serve as a Maritime Enforcement Specialist 2nd Class for the US Coast Guard Reserve out of Miami.
Actively involved with the South Florida US Green Building Council, I am also the Past-Chair of the USGBC Emerging Professionals National Committee.
I enjoy anything to do with the ocean whether its scuba diving, rowing or water skiing and intent on keeping the big pond at the same level it is today.
This blog is intended as an outlet and platform for my opinions, research and writings regarding architecture, sustainability and the current happenings in and around Miami.
